Grant is a guide for Blue Ridge Mountain Guides. He is from Wintergreen, VA where he grew up climbing, skiing, and searching for unclimbed rock, ice and adventure. He has been climbing for over 20 years and teaching in the outdoor industry for 15 years. Grant enjoys all types of climbing but favors ice and trad. He is as dedicated to teaching as he is to climbing. He has a strong passion for sharing his love for climbing and the mountains with others. Most find that Grant has a laid back, patient and adaptive teaching style. He strives to convey information and skills in a manner that is easy to understand and to retain.
